David Edwards is an inventor, writer, and founder of the olfactory technology companies oNotes & Sensory Cloud. Edwards teaches at Harvard University, and has founded many companies and nonprofits, from his early work related to inhaled insulin (AIR, sold to Alkermes) to his more recent work related to edible packaging (Incredible Foods).  He is the founder of the World Frontiers Forum (www.worldfrontiersforum.org), the cultural center, Le Laboratoire (Paris, Cambridge), Cafe ArtScience (www.cafeartscience.com), a future-of-food restaurant next to MIT and Harvard.  Dr. Edwards is Professor of the Practice of Idea Translation at Harvard University, he is among the youngest engineers ever elected to the National Academy of Engineering in the USA, and has also been elected to the National Academy of Engineering in France, and to the National Academy of Inventors in the USA.  He has won numerous international awards including being made a chevalier of arts and letters by the French Ministry of Culture.  He is the author of many articles and books, in English and French.
